MEET THE Author from Aurora, MO

Janet Fisher

I’m Janet Fisher—wife, mother, author, speaker, retired teacher, survivor, and most of all a passionate follower of Jesus. After walking through one of the darkest seasons of my life with breast cancer, I felt called to share my story to encourage others facing their own battles.

I’m not a medical expert. I’m not perfect. But I have seen the goodness of God in the middle of deep pain, and I’m here to remind you of this truth: you are not alone. There is purpose in your pain. And there is hope—even in the storm.

A Story of Hope, Healing, and Holding on

When Life Falls Apart

In Don’t Fear the Storm, I share my journey through triple-negative breast cancer—from diagnosis and treatment to recovery and rebuilding. But more than that—it’s a story of how God met me in the darkest moments of my life and helped me to trust Him in the pain.

This book is for cancer warriors, for caregivers, and for anyone whose world has been shaken by suffering.

Inside, you’ll find:

● Personal stories

● Scriptures that carried me through

● Prayers and encouragement

● A reminder that God is still good—even in the storm

“The storm doesn’t stop, but you learn to stand in the rain—with hope.” — Janet Fisher

“I will not die

but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done.”

– Psalm 118:17
